As per YouTubes blog post, it has launched new comment search filters in YouTube. This feature will make it easier for the creators to find and respond to the comments that are most relevant. You can easily filter comments by:

Response status: have I already responded to this comment? Contains question: does the comment contain a question? Subscriber count: does the commenter have at least 1K/10K/100K/1M/10M subs? Subscriber status: is the commenter publicly subscribed to me? Member status: is the commenter a member?

To start using the new search filter first go to YouTube studio now from the left menu click on the Comments tab and use the filter bar at the top of the page. This will allow you to narrow your search for specific comments by combining different filters. The blog post also says. “Previously, searching by keyword only showed you comments with an exact match (so searching “subs” would only find “subs”). With this update, you’ll see search results beyond exact match (so now you’ll also see “subscriber” or “subscribers” for that same search).” The company also confirmed that it is working on expanding more filter options to the system. Previously, to manage conversations within the community it also brought creator hearts, comment pinning and a new setting to hold potentially inappropriate comments for review. To recall, YouTube has also set new rules to stop the misuse of its translation features. The new rules say that the contributed comment translations would only be posted on its platform after the approval of the Channel’s owner. This would avoid the abusive translations being published on a particular channel. This will make tough for trolls and harassment to sneak into a channel.
