The tweet reads, “Yes, it’s the ability to use your WhatsApp account from 4 devices at the same time. Under development, but it’s great!” In some of the previous reports that stated that WhatsApp parent company Facebook is working on a UWP version of the application that will allow this feature to take place. It will be platform agnostic and consumers can use the messaging service with one account enabled on multiple devices and expected to be rolled out to Android as well as iOS devices. A concrete timeline for the rollout has not been confirmed as yet. But if we go by the past rollouts by WhatsApp, this update should be out in the coming months. Moreover, a very recent report also claimed that the much-anticipated feature was spotted in the latest WhatsApp version 2.20.143 beta for Android beta users. As purported by WABEtainfo only one can make use of the multi-device support by just scanning the QR code. This means that you won’t be disconnected from your main device when you try to log in from a different phone. According to a shared screenshot which shows that the string “Use WhatsApp on other devices”, suggesting that other devices will be able to use the same account in the future. The connection to the internet won’t be necessary for the main device!
