What is Monitor Refresh Rate?
Simply put, monitor refresh rate is the frequency at which the monitor displays the visual information it receives from the CPU. You can buy the high-end monitor if you plan on updating the GPU later on. If you are not interested in gaming, then a monitor with even a 60Hz refresh rate will be optimum for your needs.
