To recall, Vodafone had launched the Rs 1,499 plan a few weeks ago which had the same benefits, however, it is reportedly discontinued. It is only after discontinuing the plan is when Vodafone started off with the Rs 1,699 plan. So, it is highly possible that Vodafone wanted to start this plan as a substitute for the former one. Airtel’s Rs 1,699 yearly plan provides benefits such as 1GB daily data, unlimited local and national calling. It also includes 100 free SMS daily and a validity period of up to 365 days. As mentioned, all these services are also available are also available in the Vodafone yearly plan. Reliance Jio’s yearly plan has slightly better benefits. While the calling and messaging benefits remain the same, the plan provides up to 1.5GB of daily data to users. Furthermore, once the FUP is reached, the speed decreases down to 64Kbps.

To recall, Vodafone introduced three new top-up recharges recently. The first recharge plan is priced at Rs 50 which provides a talk time of Rs 39.7. The other plans are priced at Rs 100 and Rs 500, both of which provide unlimited talk time. For users who want to extend their validity period up to 28 days, Vodafone is offering a Rs 24 prepaid recharge.
