In India, Spotify will be seen offering some localisations on its service to make it more user-friendly for the local audience. So, on tapping on the search button, you would be able to select from categories like Bollywood, Punjabi, Tamil, Telegu and more. Although it may vary according to people’s preferences, it will definitely help them find music that they actually like and would want to listen to. It is also worth pointing out that Spotify’s pricing makes it one among the most expensive music services in India. Also, the company has not yet said anything about launching a family plan in the country yet. Currently, the music service has 200 million active users and 96 million paid subscribers across the globe. The first acknowledgement of Spotify’s plan to come to India surfaced in March 2018.
