You can watch the launch of Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 at 2 pm local time in China, which is 11:30 am IST. The launch of the smartphones will be live streamed on Redmi’s official account on Weibo and the Xiaomi website. It is worth noticing that the live stream will be available in Mandarin (Chinese).

The pre-bookings of the Redmi K20 smartphone have started in China and customers can pre-order the handset by paying CNY 100 (approximately Rs 1,000). The price of the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 smartphones will be announced later at the event today. The Redmi K20 will be launched in India too, the company has confirmed. According to a leak, the Redmi K20 Pro’s base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will be available for CNY 2,599, while its 6GB RAM/128GB storage model will be priced at CNY 2,799. The 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the smartphone can be bought at CNY 2,999. The company is also expected to launch its first Redmi series laptop today.

The Redmi K20 Pro smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, while the younger sibling would be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC. The handsets will sport a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. While the Pro model of the smartphone will come with a pop-up selfie camera, the Redmi K20 will spot a waterdrop-shaped notch on the top. The company has confirmed that the Redmi K20 will come with a seventh-generation in-display fingerprint sensor, enhanced gaming with Game Turbo 2.0 and DC Dimming feature. The presence of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor has also been touted. The smartphone will house a 4,000mAh battery and come with support for 27W fast charging technology.
