In its Direct video promo, the company announced that it will be bringing many classic old titles as well as newer titles for Switch. The titles vary from Super Mario Maker 2 to The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening which was a Game Boy classic. Link’s Awakening will basically be a remake of the old game with better graphics, better animation, revamped music, however, it will have the same story and will come with a bucketful of nostalgia. The game was released way back in 1993 for Game Boy and it became an all-time classic.

Some other games which were announced earlier were:

Astral Chain, a new action game for Switch where players can control two fighters at the same time. A multi-player version of Tetris, the Tetris 99, which is more or less a Tetris battle royale. The Tetris 99 can be played together with 99 other players and they can simultaneously play the competitive game of block dropping and gaining points.

Oninaki, an action RPG game was also announced, and it comes from the Back-to-Basics studio, which is the same studio that made games like I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear. Lovers of the JRPG can rejoice as the Switch is also getting Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The company has already introduced the main characters, so fans already know what to look forward to. Rune Factory 4 Special has also been announced for the platform. The original game was an RPG with a huge fan base, and with the special version, the company would want to get a similar kind of response from fans. The next series in the line-up, Rune Factory 5, is currently in development and will be available on Switch later. Final Fantasy VII will also be coming to Switch by the end of March. On the other hand, the Final Fantasy IX is currently available on the platform. Another big game that will be making their way to the Switch is Dragon Quest 11 S, however, it will be available on Switch later this year. This game is the enhanced version of the original hit. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is also coming to the platform in July, and as the name suggests, the game is also from the same series.
